Paul Michael Pchinow, 78, Lower Paxton Township, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2022 at Osteopathic Hospital.

Born June 26, 1944 in Washington, PA, he was the son of the late Michael and Marie Pchinow and was also preceded in death by his sister, Mary Agnes Mackiw and his dog, Lucy.

He was the husband of Ginger Deibert Pchinow, who he married on August 13, 1983.

Also surviving are his children, a brother, nieces and nephews, and other family members and friends.

Paul was raised in a Catholic home and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 869, Harrisburg.  Following high school, he attended from John Carroll University in Ohio.

He was a retired Pennsylvania State Trooper, having served his state for 25 years from PSP on Elmerton Avenue.

Paul made the most of his retirement by knowing how to relax.  Cooking (and dining out), Scotch, watching the Steelers play and hanging with his buddies on his porch became his favorite pastimes.  He also enjoyed going to the beach, watching the waves coming in and going out, and listening to 50s era and classical music.

He had educated taste but had a self-admitted “sweet tooth”, and was a regular at Zimmerman’s, buying nuts and vintage candies.  Mostly, he was a kind and loving husband, and will be dearly missed by his wife and family.
