Jeanne S. Ruiz, 46, suddenly entered the gates of Heaven in the early morning hours of Sunday, October 7, 2018.  She is preceded in death by her father, Dario Ruiz, her Aunt Brandy Cordero and her grandmother, Jeanne Castle.

Born in Harrisburg on July 8, 1972, she worked as a waitress and a Certified Nurse Assistant in Home Health Care.

Jeanne was a carefree and kind soul who lived life to the fullest.  A self proclaimed "wild child", she always felt she was born in the wrong era.  She was outspoken but always there to listen and held her family values close to her heart.  An animal lover, she recently started volunteering for the Humane Society and dearly adored her three chihuahuas, Bentley, Lola and Sadie/Mary.

She may have been tiny, but her spirit and personality filled any room she entered.

She leaves behind her mother, Barbara "Bobbi" (Wagner) Martinez, Steelton; her long time partner, Daniel Morales, Jr., Harrisburg; her two beautiful children, Tristan D. Wright (and Jessica Lopatic), Steelton and Tristina E. Wright (and Gerardo Troche Perez), Middletown; two sisters, Donnaletta "Letta" Ruiz (and Jorvany Bonilla), Harrisburg and Kimberly "Kimmy" Ruiz (and Jose Rivera), Hummelstown and her brother, David A. Cordero (and Wanda Garrison), Bainbridge;  her beloved two year old grandson, Tristan D. Wright, Jr.; and was eagerly anticipating the birth of a second grandson, Gerardo Anthony-Jean Troche, in January.  Also surviving are a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends, all of whom will miss her deeply.

A celebration of her life is being held at 4:00 pm, Saturday,  November 3, 2018 at Stream Hall, 125 N. 10th Street, Harrisburg,  17101.
