Demetrius Eric Ramos, 45, Williamstown and formerly of Harrisburg, passed away Friday, January 31, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born September 20, 1974 in Harrisburg, he was the son of the late Rosemary Troutman Ramos and José Ramos and was also preceded in death by his grandmother, Anna Troutman and his brother, Anthony “Tony” Sedeshe.

Demetrius was a former member and security at Club 320 and attended Grace Chapel in Elizabethtown.

He loved his dogs, his Steelers, shooting pool, fishing and spending time outdoors. With a pure heart full of love for people, he was dedicated to helping others and, with his keen sense of humor, enjoyed giving them a reason to smile and laugh. Mostly, Demetrius loved his family and was thrilled when he became a father to his precious baby boy in 2018.

Surviving is his son, Demetrius E. Ramos, II; his girlfriend, Jerica R. Acker; his stepson, Chase Poorman; his sister, Angela M. Martin (and husband, David), Steelton; his brothers, Dale E. Sedeshe, Jr. (and Kim Lehman), Dillsburg, Joseph P. Sedeshe (and wife, Ruthann), Linglestown and Nicholas J. Ramos, Mechanicsburg; aunts, uncles and cousins from Halifax; nieces and nephews; and many other family members and friends.

Services will be held 5:00 pm Sunday, February 9, 2020 at Kimmel Funeral Home, 2001 Market Street, Harrisburg, with Pastor Melvin W. Weaver officiating. Viewing will be Sunday at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

Flowers are welcome, or contributions may be made to Grace Chapel, 2535 Colebrook Road, Elizabethtown, 17022 or to a trust for his son. (Details will be available, soon)
