Andrew James McClure, 65, of Harrisburg, passed away at home on Saturday, October 2.

He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Lauren Anzolut McClure and a son, Vincent August McClure, both of Harrisburg. Other surviving family includes his mother, Edith Principe Reisch of Palmyra; brothers Daniel (Rosemary) of Harrisburg, Timothy McClure of Hummelstown and sister, Dorothy (Steven) Gurley of Palmyra and many nieces and nephews. Preceding Andy in death were his stepfather, Isaac Reisch, and his brother, Patrick McClure.

He graduated from Lower Dauphin High School in 1974 and retired in 2017 from the City of Harrisburg Parks Department after 26 years of service.

Andy was an avid reader, a Cub Scout leader and volunteered at the Harrisburg Community Theatre.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Tuesday, October 12th at the W. Orville Kimmel Funeral Home, 2001 Market Street, Harrisburg. Visitation will be at 5:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in his honor payable to “Transplant Foundation”, Gift of Life Donor Program, 401 N. 3rd St., Philadelphia, PA 19123.

Masks or face coverings are required inside for the visitation and service.
