Travis J. McCollum

Travis J. McCollum, aged 38, of Strattanville, PA, passed away on August 3, 2026, at The Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence in Harrisburg.

Born on June 15, 1988, in Harrisburg, Travis was the beloved son of Jeffrey McCollum and cherished grandson of the late Peter T. McCollum. He is survived by his father, his grandmother Helen McCollum, and his sister Erin McCollum.

Travis found his calling as a mechanic at Clarion Ford and previously worked with H&S Towing. He was a passionate fan of the Phillies and Penn State, and he enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, and NASCAR.

His love for growing and researching peppers began during his school years and evolved into a lifelong passion. Travis took pride in his "Homestead," where he grew a variety of vegetables and peppers and raised chickens.

Services will be held at the family's convenience, with arrangements by Kimmel Funeral Home in Harrisburg.
