Pauline M. (Meyer) Wilson

August 2, 1926 — June 6, 2015

Pauline M. (Meyer) Wilson, 88, Harrisburg, and formerly of Aurora, Colorado, passed away Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Middletown Home.

Born August 2. 1926 in Mifflintown, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Anna (Boyer) Meyer, was a graduate of John Harris High School and retired from Polyclinic Hospital after 38 years as Director of Credit and Collections.

Polly was a 65 year member of the former Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church, Harrisburg and was a member of Christ Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Aurora, CO for 8 years.  She was a life member of Beta Sigma Phi and loved to read and travel.

She was the widow of John A. Wilson, who passed away in 2007 after 54 years of marriage.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Reed.

Surviving is her daughter:  Cynthia M. Wilson, Harrisburg; one brother:  Robert Meyer, Ocean City, NJ; one sister:  Peggy Grundon, Harrisburg; and nieces and nephews and their families.

At Polly's request, there will be no formal service, but a celebration of her life will be announced closer to her birthday in August.  She will be buried with her husband at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Bichon Frise Rescue Ranch, 1979 Carlson Road, Parker, CO, 80138.
