Moises ("Chino") Velez-Cortes

El pasado miércoles 28 de febrero del 2018 Moisés Vélez Cortés de 51 años de edad,amado,hijo,padre,hermano,abuelo, amigo y sobrino repentinamente murió en su hogar en Harrisburg.
Nacido el 11 de julio, 1966 en Utuado Puerto Rico, el fue el hijo de Fernando Velez y Olga Vélez Cortez Harrisburg , ademas el era muy cercano a su hija Moyra Duarte y (esposo Luis) de Harrisburg y 4 hermanos ,Anderson Velez, Harrisburg , Fernando Velez, Texas, Jorge Velez, Florida, and Wilfredo Velez, Harrisburg I su única hermana Brenda velez, Harrisburg, sus 2 nietos , Orlando Sánchez Gonzalez, y Eliel Sánchez Gonzáles , su tía Iris Cortez , y su tío Luis Cortez , y su fiel amigas Adriana González , Harrisburg, Nicole Toro, Harrisburg, Lucy Hernández Puerto Rico, Iris González Puerto Rico muchas sobrina, y muchos sobrino, otros familiares y estimados amigos y su pequeña chichuachua chiquita y todos lo vamos a extrañarán infinitamente.
Moisés Vélez mejor conocido como chino, se mudó a Trenton NJ cuando él tenía , 25 años de edad, donde estudió cosmetologia seguidamente practicándolo en su familiares y amigos tiempo después el su mudó a Harrisburg p.a donde trabajo como conductor de forklift tanbiene fue conocido como un bien pintor de casas, además atendió a la iglesia de Dios Juan 3:16 con su madre.
El ciertamente disfruto bailar, cantar, hacer labor de jardinero, cocinar, tejer ropa , el fue siempre muy creativo , el fue considerado tambien como el doctor de la familia y estas fue el tutor de barios embarazos de varias amigos el momento de dará luz ... Siempre fue un hombre , hamable , respetoso y afectuoso . El fue el mejor amigo de su unica hija , siempre supo que decirle a su hija en cada Momento que ella lo necesito con sus lindas palabras o con un simple chiste y su hermosa sonrisa ... Todo sus amigos y familiares amavan su sentido del humor , todos ellos dicen que nunca havia un minuto de tristesa cuando él estava alrededor de ellos ... La filosofía de chino siempre fue tratar de tener toda la felicidad que se pudiera y pasarla a las personas de sus alrededores ... Y su muerte deja un gran vacio en todas las vidas que el tocó de aquellas personas que lo amaban y lo respetaban.
El servicio del funeral va hacer el martes marzo 6 2018 a las 12 pm en la casa funeral Kimmel 2001 Market St Harrisburg PA con el pastor William Pena y pastor Felipe Caraballo, el entierro tomará lugar en el cementerio llamado paxtang 490 n Paxtang Ave Harrisburg 17111.
Lo podrán ver en la casa funeral, el martes a las 10 AM hasta la hora del servicio a las 12.

Moises Velez-Cortes, 51, beloved son, father, brother and grandfather, passed away suddenly at his home in Harrisburg on Wednesday, February 28, 2018.
Born July 11, 1966 in Utuado, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Fernando Velez and Olga Velez-Cortes, Harrisburg and is also survived by his daughter, Moyra Duarte (and her husband, Luis), Harrisburg; 4 brothers, Anderson Velez, Harrisburg, Fernando Velez, Texas, Jorgé Velez, Florida, and Wilfredo Velez, Harrisburg; one sister, Brenda Velez, Harrisburg; his two grandsons, Orlando Sanchez-Gonzalez and Eliel Sanchez-Gonzalez; his devoted best friend, Adriana Gonzalez, Harrisburg; many nieces and nephews; other family members and dear friends; and his little dog, Chiquita, all of whom will miss him greatly.
Chino, as he was known, moved to Trenton, NJ when he was 25. There he studied cosmetology, often practicing on his family and friends. He then moved to Harrisburg where he was a forklift driver and was known for his painting skills. He also attended Inglesia De Dios Juan 3 16 with his mother.
He enjoyed dancing and singing, gardening, cooking, knitting and just being creative. He was considered the family “doctor” and was even a birthing coach for several women. Mostly, he was a family man; kind, respectful, caring. He was his daughter’s best friend and was always there for her with a kind word, a funny joke, and a smile. All of his family and friends loved his humor; they said there was never any sadness when he was around. Chino’s life philosophy was to embrace happiness and pass it along, and his death leaves a void in the lives of those who loved him.
Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Kimmel Funeral Home, 2001 Market Street, Harrisburg, with Pastor William Pena and Pastor Felipe Carabello officiating. Burial will be in Paxtang Cemetery.
There will be a viewing at the funeral home Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of services.
