Julio Cesar Delgado

Julio Cesar Delgado, 50, Wilmington, Delaware, and formerly of Harrisburg and Puerto Rico, passed into the arms of Jesus on Saturday, September 1, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice, Wilmington.

Born January 10, 1968 in Fajardo, Puerto Rico, he was the son of Julio Cesar Delgado of Reading and Maria Luisa Rivera of Harrisburg. He was a beloved son, brother, father, uncle and husband and had a wonderful heart, full of love for his family.

Julio's greatest joy came from working on cars and racing. His friends and family could always count on his mechanic abilitities; and he used those skills on his team's racecars.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Alba Peguero, Wilmington; his children: Cesar O'Neill Delgado, Puerto Rico, Ninoshka Delgado, Puerto Rico, and Louis Angel Delgado, Orlando, FL; his sister: Carmen "Annie" Florentino, Harrisburg; and her children: Rose Diaz, Lytcha Colon and Chris Colon.

Services will be held 5:00 pm Sunday, September 9, 2018 at Kimmel Funeral Home, 2001 Market Street, Harrisburg. Viewing will be held from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.

Contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
