Jahlil N. Scott, Jr.

Jahlil N. Scott, Jr., precious son of Jahlil N. Scott, Sr. and Tahlae McGill-Cruz, passed away suddenly at their home in Swatara Township on December 25, 2023.  He joins in Heaven his paternal grandfather Mark Brown and maternal great grandmother Gloria Rodriguez.

Born on September 29, 2023, at Harrisburg Hospital, Jahlil brought immense joy and happiness to his parents and extended family during his almost three months on this earth. His radiant smile and infectious laughter brightened their lives each day. Although Jahlil's time here was brief, the treasured memories he created will forever remain etched in the hearts of all who loved him.

In addition to his parents, Jahlil leaves behind a loving and tight-knit family to cherish his memory - his maternal grandmother Tanya Cruz; maternal grandfather  Eric McGill; paternal grandmother  Shana Brown; paternal great grandmother  Denise Scott; maternal great grandparents  Estella and Eugene McGill; aunts:  A’Oshannay Scott, Tahleya McGill-Cruz, Eniyah McGill-Cruz, Saniyah Cruz, and Esani Kent-McGill; uncles: Eric McGill Jr,  Steven Bundy, Taufeeq Brown, and Kaseem Brown; and numerous other adoring family members.

The family will be holding private services for Jahlil at their convenience as they come to terms with this heart-wrenching loss.
