Isabelle L. (Cook) Price

Isabelle L. Price, 93, a resident of the Middletown Home, passed away peacefully at Hershey Medical Center on Tuesday, December 31, 2013. Born December 4, 1920 in Dillsburg, she was the daughter of the late Park L. Cook, Sr. and Blanche (Anthony) Cook, and was also preceded in death by her three brothers. She worked at several companies in the area, including what is now the Patriot News, finally retiring as a library aide for the Harrisburg School District. She was a life member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, Harrisburg where she held many positions. In her spare time, she could be found reading and working on her flowers and garden. In 1941, she married her childhood sweetheart, Lyman V. Price, Sr., and enjoyed 30 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1971. Surviving are her children: Dianne L. Robinson (and her husband, James), Middletown, Lyman V. Price, Jr. (and his wife, Kathy), Harrisburg and Jeanette M. Kaylor, Womelsdorf; 4 grandchildren and 4 great granddaughters. Graveside services will be held 12:00 noon Monday, January 6, 2014 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. James Person officiating. Contributions in her name may be made to Hershey Gardens, 170 Hotel Road, Hershey, 17033. Kimmel Funeral Home, Harrisburg, is handling arrangements.
