Hector E. Reyes

Hector E. Reyes, 50, of Harrisburg, passed away suddenly Monday, March 3, 2014 at Harrisburg Hospital. Born July 6, 1963 in the Bronx, he was the son of the late Hector L. Reyes and Edith Santiago of Harrisburg. Hector was an avid Giants and Yankees fan, and had been scouted in high school to play professional baseball. While living in Harrisburg, he played baseball for several local adult teams. Surviving are his mother, Edith Santiago, Harrisburg; his children: Leslie and Gina Reyes, both of Harrisburg; his sisters: Zulma Thomas (and her husband, Roderick), Hanover and Mayra Reyes (and her husband, Charles Negron), Lansdale; his fiancée: Irma Colón, Harrisburg; and a step-daughter: Aixa Espada, Ocala, FL. Services will be held 12:00 pm Friday, March 7, 2014 at Kimmel Funeral Home, 2001 Market Street, Harrisburg, where there will be a viewing from 10:00 am until 11:30 am. There will also be a viewing Thursday from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Burial will be in Oberlin Cemetery.

Los servicios se celebran 24:00 Viernes, 07 de marzo 2014 a Kimmel funeraria, 2001 Market Street, Harrisburg, en el que habrá una visión desde las 10:00 am hasta las 11:30 am. También habrá una visita Jueves de 7:00 pm hasta las 9:00 pm. Entierro estará en Oberlin cementerio.
