Delilah Lourdes Correa was born in Cleveland, Ohio on September 18, 1979. She was the glue that kept her family together. She earned her wings October 20, 2024.
Ohio born, raised in Puerto Rico, Delilah faced challenges people couldn't imagine going through, but she somehow always prevailed. When Delilah was 16, she moved to Shirley, New York, where she attended William Floyd High School.
By 17 years of age, in 1997, she gave birth to her first beautiful baby girl, so young with so much time ahead of her, not knowing at the time God was going to give her the blessing of being fruitful and multiplying her lineage. She had three beautiful girls by the age of 21. Delilah would have done any and everything for those girls, but not just them, that was her character. She was warm, bubbly, and loved with no judgement, and would've given a stranger the shirt off her back. She always took in everybody and made them feel welcomed. There was never an empty stomach when she was around and had anything to do with it.
One thing Delilah could do is cook. Delilah was a go-getter and always provided for her kids the best she could, all while being a single mom. Her strength and courage were admirable, just like her. By the age of 38, she was blessed with six amazing kids; five girls and one boy, Amber, Brooklyn, Maria, Ledin, Saha'ra and Ohana. This was her tribe! She was in love with all of her kids, despite the age gaps between her children. Delilah always made sure her kids were close and always made sure they loved on another. She was also blessed with four amazing grandkids, Sirenatie, Grayson, Eric, Jovan and Elaine, who she loved more than anything. She was obsessed with her grandbabies.
Delilah always knew how to light up a room with her charisma and her beautiful smile. She was a God-fearing woman and will be truly missed forever. Her memory will always live on through her children and grandchildren.
