Connie Christine McCoy Pineda

In Loving Memory of Connie Christine McCoy‑Pineda Born August 28, 1958 • Fayetteville, North Carolina Passed Away Unexpectedly • Surrounded by Family Love

Connie Christine McCoy‑Pineda, lovingly known as Nanna, lived a life defined by faith, family, and the simple joys that made her heart full. Proud of her upbringing as an army brat, Connie spent her childhood in Lake City and Jacksonville, Florida, where her Southern roots shaped her warmth, resilience, and gentle spirit. She graduated from Columbia High School in Lake City and worked numerous jobs throughout her life, always giving her best and showing unwavering determination.

Connie was the daughter of Ernestine Deese and William Clinton McCoy, both deceased. She was also predeceased by siblings Wadering Nathaniel Toole, Sharone Elaine Toole, Larry Ray McCoy, Jeannie Elizabeth McCoy, and step‑brother Meredith Vernon Duane Toole. She is survived by siblings Juanita Ann McCoy, Twanna Christine McCoy, William Clinton McCoy Jr., Sarah Ann McCoy, Helen McCoy, Ricky Nelson McCoy, all of Florida and Benjamin Adam McCoy of Georgia.

A lifelong Southern Baptist, Connie attended church faithfully and found joy in bringing her grandchildren with her. Her faith was a guiding light, and her Sundays spent in worship were among her most cherished moments.

Connie married Eloy Frances Pineda and devoted her life to her family. She is survived by her children Dolly Marie Parsons (Paul Edward Parsons III) of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Eric Lee Rogers of Port Richey, Florida; and Jonathan Michael Woods of Wisconsin.

Her grandchildren were the center of her world: Anna Oren Oja of Idaho; Santiago Miguel Perry (Kenleigh Tia Wannamaker) of Allentown, Pennsylvania; Esteban Paulino Villegas, Paul Edward Parsons IV, Keilah Ilene Janai Parsons, Kalia Christine Parsons, and Zealand Isaias Parsons, all of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania; Eric Jefferson Lee of Missouri; Beverly Adell Rogers and Garrett Donald Rogers of Port Richey, Florida. Connie was joyfully awaiting the arrival of a great‑grandchild.

Connie is also survived by her best friend, Barbara Long, who shared a lifelong bond of friendship with her.

Connie’s joys were simple and heartfelt. She loved attending church, spending time with her grandchildren, playing her games, and watching her favorite shows — the Hallmark Channel, John Wayne westerns, and Heartland. Her home was filled with the music she adored: Elvis Presley, Garth Brooks, and Mariachi.

Connie will be remembered as a woman who loved deeply, prayed faithfully, and found joy in the everyday moments that make a life meaningful. Her legacy lives on in her children, grandchildren, siblings, and the traditions she passed down. Her presence was a blessing, her memory is a treasure, and her love will remain forever.
