Betty L. (Storm) Santiago

Betty L. Santiago, 64, Harrisburg, passed away Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at Harrisburg Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Born August 6, 1949 in Mechanicsburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Edna (Harmen) Storm and was a graduate of John Harris High School. She was actively involved in the Salvation Army until she was unable to participate as much as she would have liked. She loved playing bingo wherever she could and listening to Elvis Presley. Mostly, she was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and was always the one who remembered and was the first to call each family member on their birthday.
Surviving is her beloved husband of over 41 years, Ramon Antonio Santiago Cruz; her children: Antonio Santiago (and his fiancée, Shawna Carroll), Oberlin, José Santiago (and fiancée, Melanie Lanehart), Wormleysburg, Nancy Santiago (and her husband, Lee Crawley), Harrisburg and Anna Santiago, Harrisburg; one brother: Henry Storm, Enola and 2 sisters: Bertha Krow, Carlisle and Mary Davis, Maryland; 13 grandchildren: Antonio III, Alexander, Eulises, Jr., Jaheem, Deshawn, Jalexi, Janaya, Jakira, Jazlynn, Jalena, Jessalynn, Jaquala and Jaylynn; and nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held 12:00 noon Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 1439 Market St, Harrisburg, where she and her husband were married. There will be a viewing Wednesday from 10:00 am until 11:30 am at Kimmel Funeral Home, 2001 Market St., Harrisburg. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
