Betty Mae (Poust) Palmer

December 27, 1955 — December 9, 2016

Surrounded by her loving family, Betty Mae (Poust) Palmer, 60, passed away Friday, December 9, 2016 at her home in Marysville after a valiant battle with cancer.

Born December 27, 1955 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Shirley (Soulliard) Poust and was also preceded in death by her daughter, Patty Raymond.

Betty was a manager at various local McDonalds and with her family worked at many area carnivals.  She loved going to fairs, especially the Gratz Fair.  She and her husband also enjoyed camping for many years.  Kindhearted and loving, she was considered everyone's "Mom".

Surviving is her beloved husband, George E. Palmer, Jr., who she married on July 21, 1989, after being together for ten years prior.  Also surviving are her children:  Phillip L. Poust (and his fiancée, Gretta Martin), Landisburg, Catherine R. Palmer-Stoneroad, Elizabethville, Carl M. Poust, Jr., Marysville and Thomas A. Poust (and his girlfriend, Nichole Purdue), Marysville; her daughter:  Wendy Wagner, 2 sisters:  Debbie Felker, Harrisburg and Linda Belle, Mechanicsburg; one brother:  Ronnie Poust, Mechanicsburg, 19 grandchildren:  Matthew Poust, Melissa Poust, Shyann Poust, Dakota Poust, Brooklyn Poust, Kendall Gosnell, Kensington Boxler, Martina Poust, Garret  Poust, Allissa Coffey, Athena Poust, Natalia Poust, Yvonne Poust, Logan Poust, Hillary Palmer, Zachary Stoneroad, Tina Zink, Ryan Hall, and Liselle Hall; 2 great grandchildren:  Shyann Zink and Jaden Zink; ; and her two pups, Barkley and Hooch.  In addition, she leaves behind many other family members and friends, all of whom will miss her greatly.

A Celebration of her life will be held  3:00 PM, Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at 1122 Second Street, Enola, with the Rev. Brian Harrison officiating.
