Barbara (Nissley) Elder, 87, of Swatara Township, died on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at the Osteopathic Hospital in Harrisburg, PA.
Born June 19, 1934 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of the late Byron Paul and Margaret (Drvar) Nissley.
She was a graduate of Harrisburg High School and the Harrisburg School of Nursing, where she received her RN.
On May 22, 1954 she married John Sharretts Elder, and brought 6 children into the world. She has 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Her family will be gathering privately to honor and celebrate her life.
