Anthony Michael Peters, “Tony”, 22, of Halifax, passed away suddenly on Thursday, November 3, 2022 as the result of an automobile accident in Halifax Township.
He was born July 5, 2000 in Camp Hill to Michelle Lee McCutcheon.
In addition to his mother, Tony is survived by his brother: Edward Peters; his maternal grandfather: Herman Gill; his maternal grandmother: Marion Knoble; aunts and uncles: Lisa and John Hower and Tammy and Linn Dietz; cousins: Kayana Hower (and her children: Jimmy and Theo), John Hower, Jr, Allison Knoble; Ayden and Linn Dietz III; nephews: Bricen Jerry McCutcheon, Xavier Ray McCutcheon; niece: Briella Lee Crowell; and his cat: Church; as well as other family members and friends.
Tony was preceded in death by his sister: Brittanny M. McCutcheon, his grandfather, Jerry M. Knoble, and his grandmother: Joyce K. Gill.
An avid outdoorsman, Tony was most in his element when he was in the woods. He enjoyed hiking, fishing (and noodling) and just being in nature. Tony preferred working with his hands; fixing cars for family and friends or rebuilding engines and was a gun and knife enthusiast, but mostly he enjoyed a simple life and the peace he found outside.
Services will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions to help offset these unexpected costs can be made to the GoFundMe account set up by the family.
