Anthony E. Braxton, 38, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, January 20, 2018 at his home in New Cumberland.
Born January 31, 1979 in Harrisburg, he was the son of Larry Braxton and Sharon Robinson. He played for the Little League Football champions East Shore Royals when he was young and was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School.
He was a night supervisor at Librandi’s Plating, Middletown.
Anthony grew to love the outdoors, especially fishing and camping. He was more of a “catch and release” fisherman; mostly he just enjoyed the peace of being on the water in his boat.
His friends and family will miss his fun-loving ways; joking around and just acting silly. Most of all his “Luv ya, cya, bye”.
Anthony loved all animals, especially pitbulls. Mostly, though, he was a proud father who loved his son more than anything.
Surviving are his parents: Larry Braxton, Harrisburg and Sharon Robinson, Harrisburg; paternal grandmother: Mary “Little Bits” Braxton, Harrisburg; his son: Dominic Braxton, Florida; his girlfriend: Jamie Forbes; his brothers and sisters: April Tyson, Ashlee Burnett, Alycia Jordan, Raesha Proctor, James Braxton, Shamika Brooks, Tomika Parker, and Brenda Chambers, all of Harrisburg; Terrill, Teresa, Vernisha Braxton, all of California; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
There will be a viewing from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm Friday, January 26, 2018 at Kimmel Funeral Home, 2001 Market Street, Harrisburg.
Services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
Contributions in his memory may be made to Speranza Animal Rescue, 1216 Brandt Road, Mechanicsburg, 17055.
