Ann had a deep spiritual presence that filled her life with joy and kindness; she was a gentle and loving soul. It was there she met the love-of-her-life, Robert R. Coleman, who passed away in 1989 after 42 years of marriage.

Ann received her Preschool and Elementary Education Bachelor Degrees from Penn State University. She taught full time in Connecticut while her husband attended the Graduate School of Engineering at Yale University.

Ann had been a devout member of Paxton Presbyterian Church since 1950. She was a member of the church’s Kirkers Sunday School Class; involved in the planning of the Nursery School curriculum; taught at the Wednesday Night Youth Club; a former Deacon; and a former President of the Women’s Board several times.
