Louise Irene McNeill, affectionately known as Weezy, age 40, Harrisburg, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, September 23, 2023 at Harrisburg Hospital. Although their loss is great, her family finds peace in knowing that Louise was an organ donor and saved several lives over the weekend.
Born June 6, 1983 in Harrisburg, she was the daughter of Tony McNeill and Mary Hoffman, with whom she attended Life Center, their church in Harrisburg.
Louise joins in Heaven her sister: Wyenet Taylor; her nephew: Divine Madden-McNeill; and her grandparents: Louise and Willie Bandy.
A loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and niece, Louise cherished the time she spent with her family more than anything. Camping, swimming, family outings and taking her kids to the park were moments she loved, and those memories will stay with her family, forever.
She was a talented photographer who took photography courses at HACC, liked almost all types of music and just enjoyed being outdoors.
Surviving are her parents: Tony and Mary; her children: Corey McWhite, Dashawn McWhite, and Javis Hamilton; her siblings: Sonya McNeill, Rachel McNeill, George Taylor, Curtis Hoffman, Andre Cartnail, Tony McNeill, Jr., and Elijah McNeill; her nieces and nephews: Aliyah Grigsby, Alyssa McNeill, Makayla Smith, George Taylor, Trey Taylor, Jade Taylor, Fearless McNeill and Freddie Reid; and many other family members and friends.
A funeral service will be held 12:00 Monday, October 2, 2023 at Kimmel Funeral Home, 2001 Market Street, Harrisburg, with Pastors Edgar and Yadira Castenon officiating. There will be a viewing at the funeral home from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm.
