Carmen Iris Rodriguez Mendoza, 75, Harrisburg, passed away Sunday, March 10, 2019 at ManorCare, Camp Hill.
Born July 10, 1943 in Juncos, Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of the late Bernardo Rodriguez and Josefa Mendoza and was also preceded in death by her brothers, Miguel Rodriguez and Angel Luis Rodriguez and one sister, Irma Iris Rodriguez.
She was a member of the Steelton Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses and was a woman of strong faith her entire life.
She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother; and a dear lady who was always particular about having a proper appearance with styled hair and manicured nails and jewelry that complimented her outfit.
Surviving is her beloved husband, Angel Rosado; her five sons: Luis A. Rosado (and Lucy), Kissimmee, FL, Edwin Rosado (and Maritza), Mechanicsburg, Abimael Rosado (and Luz), Connecticut, Jorge Rosado (and Enid), Harrisburg, Albert Rosado (and Janitza), Mechanicsburg, her two daughters: Marisol Rosado (and Marcus), Harrisburg and Lissette Rosado (and Derrick), Harrisburg; her two sisters: Julia Rodriguez, Puerto Rico and Maria Rivera, Elizabeth, NJ; her brother, Hector Rodriguez (and Migdalia), Steelton; 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Services will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Steelton Kingdom Hall, 420 Gibson Street, Steelton, where a viewing will immediately follow the service. There will also be a viewing from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm Wednesday at Kimmel Funeral Home, 2001 Market Street, Harrisburg.
Burial will be in East Harrisburg Cemetery.
